We are always searching for carers who are driven to provide an outstanding level of service for our clients. We understand that each client requires individualised and flexible care, so we value carers who possess a genuine passion for developing relationships and remaining open-minded.
In return for this level of commitment, CARS strives to provide employees with the best possible opportunity to develop a career with extremely high job satisfaction. Our workplace is inclusive and based on equal opportunity, so employees of all backgrounds are welcome.
Experience in the caring industry, especially with people with disability or aged care, or a Cert III or Cert IV in disability or aged care work is highly regarded. We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience dealing with high-needs clients.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (we offer beginner and refresher courses throughout the year)
• Current QLD drivers licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Criminal history check (if you don’t have one, we will conduct one for you)

Are you interested in volunteering?
It is often said that true happiness can only be achieved through helping others. Here at CARS we believe this to be true, as each and every day the lives of our team of over 20 volunteers are enriched and brightened by our clients. By lending a hand and volunteering through our organisation, you can gain just as much as you give.
Volunteering is a great way to:
• Become an active member of the community
• Meet new people and develop friendships
• Learn new skills
• Gain work experience
• Make a tangible difference.
Our volunteering program is diverse and caters to a range of skillsets. As well as mini bus drivers, we would love to hear from anyone with skills in fundraising, providing social support for aged people, teaching life skills, or working with people with disability.
